Jacklyn was always by Jaycee’s side when they came to City Life, a bit shy and slow to open up. For a while, she seemed hesitant to join in, staying on the sidelines and just observing. But like her sister, something began to change.
Thanks to the community built around volleyball and food, Jacklyn started opening up. The same spark that appeared in Jaycee showed up in her too—during devotionals, during games, during conversations. She began to smile more, speak up, and step out.
Today, Jacklyn is one of our best volleyball players and brings so much joy to our group. She also dances in her church and continues to grow in confidence and faith. Watching her find her place and thrive has been a gift.
